Specialist Personal Training for Every Stage of Life

Experience, expertise and exercise tailored to you

With over 25 years in the fitness industry and more than 20 years at Isleworth Leisure Centre, I bring extensive practical experience to helping people improve their strength, mobility and physical wellbeing.

As a Clinical Personal Trainer, I specialise in working with stroke survivors, older adults, women navigating perimenopause and menopause, and people managing long-term health conditions.

My approach combines specialist knowledge with personalised exercise, adapting each programme to your health, abilities and goals.

Whether you're rebuilding strength, maintaining independence or improving your fitness, I offer one-to-one training, ongoing guidance and realistic progression to help you achieve meaningful, lasting results.

Exercise & Recovery after Stroke

Rebuilding strength, confidence and independence

As an ARNI-trained Stroke Rehabilitation Instructor, I help stroke survivors continue developing strength, coordination and functional movement beyond formal rehabilitation.

My approach combines progressive strength training with practical, everyday movements — from improving walking and balance to learning how to get down onto the floor and safely get back up again.

Through repeated, purposeful exercise, we work to develop physical abilities and support neuroplasticity — the brain's capacity to adapt through practice and learning.

What we work on:

  • Strength, balance and coordination.

  • Functional movements, including getting up from the floor.

  • Walking, mobility and everyday independence.

  • Personalised progression based on individual abilities and goals.

Every session is adapted to the individual, with ongoing one-to-one guidance and support.

Strength & Mobility for Older Adults

It's never too late to get stronger

Whether you're in your 50s and thinking about your future health, or in your 80s and wanting to maintain your independence, strength training can make a real difference to your quality of life.

I work with people of different ages and abilities, including those who have never exercised before, are returning after a long break or are managing age-related physical changes.

My approach focuses on building practical strength for everyday life. Getting up from the floor, climbing stairs, carrying shopping, improving balance and moving with confidence are all skills we can work towards.

What we work on:

  • Strength and muscle health – maintaining and improving strength for everyday activities.

  • Balance and stability – improving confidence and reducing the risk of falls.

  • Bone health – appropriate strength and weight-bearing exercise, including adaptations for osteoporosis.

  • Mobility and flexibility – maintaining comfortable, functional movement.

  • Confidence and independence – helping you continue doing the things you enjoy.

Every programme is individually adapted to your abilities, health considerations and goals, with gradual progression and supportive one-to-one guidance.

You don't need to be fit to start. You just need to start from where you are.

Personal Training for Health & Fitness

Build strength, feel better and make fitness part of your life

Whether you're returning to exercise, managing changes in your health or simply ready to feel stronger and fitter, personal training should work with your body and your lifestyle — not against them.

With over 25 years of experience, I combine individualised strength training, functional exercise and practical guidance to help you achieve sustainable results.

A particular focus of my work is supporting women through perimenopause and menopause. During this stage of life, changes in hormones, muscle mass, bone health and body composition can affect how we feel and perform. Appropriate strength training can help maintain muscle, support bone health and improve physical confidence.

What we work on:

  • Strength and muscle development – building and maintaining muscle for long-term health.

  • Perimenopause and menopause fitness – adapting training to your changing needs, energy levels and goals.

  • Bone health and functional fitness – developing strength that supports everyday movement.

  • Returning to exercise – rebuilding confidence and fitness after a break.

  • Long-term consistency – creating realistic routines that fit your life.

My approach is about more than completing workouts. It's about developing the strength, skills and confidence to make exercise a sustainable part of who you are.

Personalised one-to-one sessions, at your own pace and with ongoing support.
